Costa Alegre is located north of Manzanillo’s international airport along a dramatic, rocky coastline of Mexico’s Pacific Coast that is also known as the Mexican Riviera. The highway leading up the coast passes through lush banana and coconut plantations in a landscape that alternates between tropical jungle during the wet season (between May and November) and temperate cactus-studded desert during the dry season (between December and April).
